Sydney International Food Festival Food Tours

It’s that time of year when all things “food” get socked into one month. October is here and the Sydney International Food Festival (SIFF) has opened it’s pantry of food events to the Sydney community offering you a banquet of food adventures. www.siff.com.au

During this month VictorsFood has our regional Market Garden day tours going and a weekend tour down to the South Coast. Do you love travelling with like minded people and exploring and experiencing wonderful new tastes? Then VictorsFood tours are definitely for you –  they are small and intimate and filled with food adventure. These tours are delicious in so many ways and great “bang for your buck”.

I love leading people into the magic of new food experiences, from tasting the freshest oysters in the world to sitting on the terrace of the certified eco lodge at Paperbark Camp in Jervis Bay dining on local ingredients. But the best part is hearing the stories of the passionate producers who put so much love into the beautiful fresh foods they grow
and make. It is inspiring to meet them and hear their stories of following a dream.

The South Coast is a stunning environment, the beaches and bush giving a sense of being far away from the maddening crowds. There are no traffic jams here! This tour gives you great experiences of organic bread baking, chocolate, oysters, local farm products, real fresh milk and yoghurt and, of course, crazy Jim Wild who is so in love with his oysters you will be also.

Our regional tours are only one day, taking you into farmer’s paddocks, fig farms, local pork smokehouse & butchery, wine tastings, demonstrations, a farm fresh lunch and more. You’ll be home in time to make a stunning dinner with your farm fresh produce, so grab your cooler bags!

These tours can all be booked on line and are filling fast so book now. We’d love to have you along. Bring your favourite friend or partner and give them a great experience.
